Last updated 31 August 2026.
This policy covers Divine Core — the Discord bot and the dashboard at divinecore.co.uk used to configure it. It explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Information we collect
- From Discord, when you sign in: your Discord user ID, username, and avatar, plus the list of servers you belong to and your permission level in each (so we can show you which servers you can manage). We only request the "identify" and "guilds" OAuth scopes — we never see or store your Discord password, and we don't request your email address.
- Settings you configure: whatever you set up in the dashboard for the features you turn on — channels, roles, messages, timers, and similar.
- Content generated by features you enable, tied to the Discord user IDs involved: suggestion and review text, ticket messages (as a transcript), application answers, poll votes, giveaway entries, and moderation case notes.
- Billing details, only if you subscribe to a paid plan: your PayPal subscription ID and its status. Payment details go directly to PayPal — we never see or store them.
- Store data, only on servers that use the Store: orders (items, amounts, Discord user IDs, PayPal order/subscription IDs), basket contents, star ratings, answers to checkout questions, and order ticket transcripts. A server that connects its own PayPal account has its client secret stored encrypted.
- Basic technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested page) kept briefly for security and debugging, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
How we use it
- To operate the features a server has turned on.
- To show you which servers you can configure and let you sign in.
- To process payments, for servers on a paid plan.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
Most feature data — tickets, application submissions, polls, giveaways, and detailed audit history — is kept for a period tied to the server's plan, then deleted automatically by a scheduled cleanup job. Moderation case history and reviews are kept longer, since they exist as an accountability record. You can ask us to delete specific data earlier by contacting us (below).
Who we share it with
- Discord — inherently, since Divine Core operates through Discord's platform and posts the messages you configure.
- PayPal — for paid plans and Store checkouts, only the data needed to process that payment.
We don't share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies — we don't use any third-party analytics or tracking on the dashboard.
Where it's stored
On our own server, not a third-party data warehouse. Divine Core is self-hosted rather than built on a general-purpose cloud platform.
Your choices
- Remove the bot from a server at any time to stop it processing data there.
- Ask us to delete specific content or your data entirely by emailing us.
- Turn off individual features in the dashboard to stop that category of data being collected going forward.
Children
Divine Core is only usable through Discord, which has its own minimum age requirement (13, or higher where local law requires). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone who doesn't meet Discord's own age requirement.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
