Auto Deafen

Set a From and To time — these are read in your General timezone. If To is earlier than From the window wraps past midnight (e.g. 23:00 to 07:00). During the window every member in voice is server-deafened; when it ends, the bot un-deafens everyone it deafened.

Add any voice channels that should stay unaffected to the exempt list, and any roles that should never be deafened (your General staff roles are always exempt). The bot needs the Deafen Members permission.

It checks about once a minute, so the window edges are honoured within ~60 seconds rather than exactly on the minute.

An admin (Manage Server) can run /autodeafen pause to lift the lockdown server-wide — everyone is un-deafened within a minute and the schedule is ignored until /autodeafen resume. /autodeafen status shows the current state and window.

The bot only ever un-deafens members it deafened itself, so a manual moderator deafen is never cleared.
